DFK Community Wellbeing Music & Arts Hub: Where Creativity Meets Wellbeing
About us:
The DFK Community Wellbeing Music & Arts Hub is a community-focused centre dedicated to nurturing the mental, emotional, and social well-being of children, young people, families, and older adults.
It offers a safe, inclusive, and creative environment where people of all backgrounds can explore self-expression, connection, and personal growth through art, music, and reflective practices.
Some activities are donation based to help our community grow.

Our Team and Collaborators
Carmelia Mar
Carmelia Mar is a SENCO professional and singer who leads the music programmes, choir sessions and vocal wellbeing activities. She also develops and delivers specialised work for neurodivergent people, and supports parents through workshops and creative sessions that promote understanding, emotional balance and connection.
Mara Marques
Mara Marques, who studied product design, leads the art and creative workshops. She brings a fresh perspective to visual arts, helping participants explore creativity through design thinking, drawing, painting and hands on artistic expression.
Professor of Metaphysical Philosophy James Tartaglia
We are honoured to collaborate with Professor James Tartaglia, an expert in metaphysical philosophy. He leads our project Voices of Logos where participants can freely explore questions about identity, meaning, and who we are as individuals and as a community. This is a space for deep conversation, reflection and open philosophical dialogue.
Pedro Duarte
Pedro Duarte, leader of the UAA Association, brings powerful cultural energy to the hub through African drumming sessions. His work celebrates rhythm, tradition and community spirit, offering a dynamic and uplifting experience for all ages.
